It’s the Sleepy edition of Ranger Rick!

What Am I Playing?

1) Brindlewood Bay the cozy mystery/Murder She Wrote meets Eldritch horror TTRPG that I’ve been running for my friends. Drawing suspects and maps for each mystery has really come in handy (esp. for a virtual game) and apparently are some of my favorite things to make:

Yes, there’s a Great British Bake Off mystery and I’ve got bad news about Paul.

A Game of Thrones parody book reading was too good to pass up.

2) The Almanac of Sanguine Paths by Rori Montford (a werewolf journaling game created by the same person who made the Dead Letter Society). I’m REALLY looking forward to her Ashur’s Ridge game, out later this year, about paranormal drama tv.

Greg Pizzoli and I had a great time reading at Kelly Writers House (thanks Alli Katz!) and answering questions from kids, adults, and one stuffed snow leopard. The Brodsky Gallery has a collection of kidlit illustrations from Greg, mine and Mônica Carnesi’s books.

Thanks for reading, I’ll get the hang of these updates soon. Or never, and that’s okay. I hope your winter week is treating you gently.
